Frequently asked questions – updated launch date

These questions are more general questions that we feel you may have relating to our new launch date.

Q: What is the new launch date?

We are planned to launch in Summer 2026. We will share the confirmed launch date with you well in advance as well as information on what to do if you have training scheduled during the launch period, how we will support you through the change, and other important information to make sure you are ready for the launch.

Q: The launch date was April 2026, why has this moved?

We understand that may feel frustrated and this may create additional work for you. The decision to move the launch date was not taken lightly. We want to ensure both systems deliver a reliable, high‑quality product and the best possible user experience. In addition, the extra time will allow us to focus on ensuring you feel confident with the new systems when we launch. Our priority is to fully support you and keep you fully informed throughout the process.

Q: What about the demonstration webinars scheduled for March?

As a result of the revised timeline, we will be cancelling the demonstration webinars scheduled for the rest of March and will reschedule them closer to the new launch date. We would like to thank everyone who has attended so far your participation has been invaluable. The sessions helped build a strong foundation for our new launch date and questions and feedback you shared in the sessions have helped us understand how best to support you moving forward.

Q. What if I have scheduled training courses / technical testing to take place around the launch date?

We appreciate you may book training and tests around our launch date, and they will have to be rebooked into ECITB Creatio. In these instances, we will be available to support you with this and keep additional work for you to a minimum.

Q: Do we need to add our courses into MSP?

Please continue to use MSP to schedule your courses as usual. We appreciate we have a launch date of Summer 2026, but we will be in touch with a confirmed date as soon as we can. Given this please add in your courses until the end of July for now.

General information on ECITB Creatio and ECITB eAssess

Q: Why are you introducing ECITB Creatio and ECITB eAssess?

To enhance efficiency, improve your user experience, and maintain high standards of reliability and performance.

Q: How will ECITB Creatio and ECITB eAssess make a difference to me

ECITB Creatio is a web-based system which provides end-to-end learner registration, scheduling of tests, completion and certification processes for all ECITB licensed products including CCNSG, all training (PEP, HSO, site operations, upskill, supervision, project control, RCC-M etc), all PCAS training and all technical tests.

You will only use ECITB eAssess if you conduct technical tests. ECITB eAssess is the secure web-based online system which provides the platform for the knowledge test element of ECITB technical tests. It can be used to access detailed insights into the knowledge test results.

Q: What is happening with MSP?

Once ECITB Creatio and ECITB eAssess have been launched, you will no longer need to use MSP.

Q: Will all the data from MSP move over to ECITB Creatio and ECITB eAssess?

We will migrate MSP data covering the previous three years into the new ECITB Creatio and ECITB eAssess systems. We will confirm the specific date ranges as we get closer to launch. If you require access to data older than three years, we can discuss your needs at that time.

Q: Will my organisation information be moved over to ECITB Creatio and ECITB eAssess?

Yes, we will ensure all organisational information is transferred over. When you first log into ECITB Creatio we recommend checking your information is correct. You can  email programmeadmin@ecitb.org.uk if anything is incorrect.

Site links, log ins and user roles

Q: If I already have an ECITB Creatio login for regulated qualifications, will I use the same login for unregulated products?

Yes, you can use the same site link and log in details once the system is live

Q: How do I access ECITB Creatio and ECITB eAssess?

ECITB Creatio and ECITB eAssess are both accessible via a web browser. We will share the links with you ready for our launch date and we recommend you save these to your favourites on your web browser for ease. We will also share more information on logging in for the first time closer to our launch date.

Q: Will log in emails for ECITB Creatio and ECITB eAssess be sent to us by email or do we need to request it?

We will ensure these are sent to you before our launch date.

Yes, Creatio is a web service, so users need to ensure it’s on their internal safe list. We will share more information with you on this closer to our launch date.
